Monterey Institute of International Studies
The Monterey Institute of International Studies offers a Masters of Business Administration International Environmental Policy, as well as a certificate in this area. The program boasts a highly diverse student matriculation with about half of each enrolled class classified as international students. Along with international business education, the student will learn key tenets of policies affecting all markets, including sustainability. The Monterey Institute of International offers a 2-year program as well as an advanced MBA track for those students with heavy prior career and/or academic experience and credentials. All students must complete a Masters thesis as well as experiential opportunities.

The Monterey Institute of International Studies is affiliated with Middlebury College, which are both located in Monterey, California. The institute has been given many commendations for its academic programs, mostly notably its business program. Although the institute was started primarily to enhance and educate its students in foreign relations and languages, it has grown to incorporate many traditional academic arenas. The institute has created great strides in its education and campaign for awareness in global sustainability and is recognized internationally for its language and international relations programs. The Monterey Institute of International Studies has an enrollment of just under 1,000 students.
